Day 5: Injury Alarm

Enock Mwepu gives us his personal insights from the training camp every day

Hey all!

So after a few days here in Qatar we feel totally settled in and the focus today was completely on the training. It's a satisfying feeling to be able to look back at the end of an intensive and successful day of hard work.

We had an intensive session out on the pitches in the morning, which went really well. In my opinion everyone is looking very strong and fit - unfortunately Rasmus [Kristensen] went down injured. Luckily it wasn't as bad as the first impression made us believe. He pulled his thigh, and he now has to watch us from the sidelines for a few days.

After the morning training session was over I went back to my room as usual. I managed to do some push-ups there before lunch. There was then a little time to rest after lunch before I needed to get ready for the afternoon session in the gym.

We did some sprinting and weights in the gym. Again I had the feeling that everyone is looking strong and fit, which bodes well.

The days are just flying by, which I guess shows they are keeping us very busy! I'll write again tomorrow to keep you updated! Till then!
