Stephan Reiter presents new business developments at the start of the season

The start of a new season always marks a new departure. We have taken new steps with regard to our partners and sponsors as well as on the infrastructural side. Our general manager Stephan Reiter mentioned the new arrangements in yesterday's press conference.

We don't just have great interest from spectators desperate to return to the Red Bull Arena, but also from partners and sponsors. Along with our main sponsor  Red Bull as well as premium partners Rauch, A1 and Nike, official partners Wiener Städtische Versicherung, Stiegl, Salzburg Verkehr and regional partners HCS (car parts), G.A.S. (advertising agency), Krautgartner (bus partner), Progress (outdoor advertising) and offset5020 (printing), we have been able to extend or agree on the following partnerships for the new season:

  • Our deal with Premium Partner Audi has been extended until 2024.
  • With Official Partners Raiffeisen and Mastercard, extensions have been agreed until 2023 and 2022.
  • Thalheim Heilwasser GmbH (until 2022) and ADMIRAL (until 2023) are new additions to our set of Official Partners.
  • A medical co-operation has been agreed with Philips until 2024.
  • The Topps company (global leader in trading cards) is the new partner for our Bullidikidz Club with an arrangement until 2024.

new look Red Bull Arena

During the summer break there has been plenty of building going on at the Red Bull Arena, but it is now almost completely finished with plenty of positive results.

New VIP area

The broad reconstruction of the VIP area of the Red Bull Arena, which began only in April, is about to be completed. For this big project, the forecourt in front of the Arena was newly designed. The former VIP tent is no more, and there is now a new building with extensive glass fronts, a partial roofing of the entrance area as well as a modernisation of the Bulls’ Corner restaurant. Altogether a space was created that can now host 700 guests (60 more than currently). The Sky Balcony was also fitted with new and more comfortable seats.

An extension has also been made to the wheelchair places, with a new position providing a much better view of the pitch and the videowall. Another new feature is an additional media balcony in the upper tier on the west side, which will create more space for media work in European matches, in particular. The pitch of the Red Bull Arena has also been replaced and a new green surface sowed.

When it comes to digitisation we are leading the way and we have made the Red Bull Arena the first stadium in Austria equipped with 5G with the help of Premium Partner A1.
