We are looking forward to a full house! All tickets for our friendly match against FC Barcelona have been snapped up within a day of going on open sale. 29,520 fans will be there on 4 August when we face the great FC Barcelona. The clash against Griezmann, Depay, Pique, Ter Stegen & Co. at the Red Bull Arena is to start at 19:00 CET.
It is worth checking our website if you are still interested in going as there could be ticket contingents that aren't fully sold (away fans etc.) leading to some tickets still being released for sale.
General manager Stephan Reiter says:
After the fantastic backdrop and incredible atmosphere at the match against Atletico Madrid, we can go one better in the match against FC Barcelona. The match against one of the biggest clubs in the world is now sold out. There will be close to 30,000 fans at the Red Bull Arena, which will return to emotion again, as is our motto at the moment. We are delighted to be able to play in a full stadium again for the first time in around a year and a half - since February 2020 against Eintracht Frankfurt.
The WEST forecourt is completely closed due to building works, but the WEST I and WEST II entrances are open. There is only one easily accessible link between the two entrances, however.
We recommend that you park at the Messezentrum, Designer Outlet Center or Hanuschplatz car parks, where free shuttle buses are departing from at 16:00 CET.
A match ticket acts as a free ticket for public transport in the Salzburg region on match days. We advise you to arrive in good time and bring proof of a vaccine, recovery from Covid or negative test and photo ID to ensure you don't have to wait long before entering.
For everyone who wasn't able to buy a ticket, there are still tickets available for our Austrian Bundesliga home matches v SV Ried (1 August) and Austria Vienna (8 August). You can find them HERE!
