Young Bulls eye route through to last 16

Big match in Group E against Liverpool FC / Match live on Puls24

Preview: UEFA Youth League, group stage match day 6
FC Salzburg U19 v Liverpool FC U19,
Tuesday 10 December 2019, 14:00 CET, Untersberg Arena

Five matches have been played, and the Young Bulls now face a big showdown with the U19 of Liverpool FC for first place in Group E. Both sides have secured their place in the competition in the spring, but the winners of the group will avoid a play-off and qualify directly for the last 16.

After taking three wins in a row, the Young Bulls go into the decisive match against the English side with plenty of confidence as they seek to gain their revenge for an unfortunate 2-4 defeat in the first meeting of the two sides.

Frank Kramer:

Liverpool are a very good team and have outstanding individual players. Some of the players have already been able to show what they can do for the first team and knocked Arsenal out of the league cup. Our aim tomorrow is very clear - we want to win our last group match. We need an extraordinarily good team performance for that and we need to play intensively again.  We want to achieve that tomorrow, and we are taking this big challenge head on!

Karim Adeyemi:

Our entire team is looking forward to the match tomorrow. We were unfortunate to lose the first match in Liverpool, and we want to show just what we can do. It's a very important final group stage match for both teams with the group win at stake. I expect a good and very intensive game in which Liverpool will give us nothing for free. I am sure that we will be able to make the most of our second chance against Liverpool and win.
