When the Austrian national team face reigning world champions Argentina on the second matchday of the FIFA 2026™ FIFA World Cup group stage, World Cup fever will have truly arrived in Salzburg. Together with the City of Salzburg, we invite you to the official public viewing of this huge match.

Free admission for 2,500 fans

For the public viewing, two large LED screens (36 m² each) will be set up next to the pitch, with the West Stand serving as the spectator area – a unique setting that will create an extraordinary atmosphere.

Admission is free. Entry is on a first-come, first-served basis with open seating (no advance ticket sales).

Limited capacity for best views

To guarantee all spectators in the stadium an unobstructed view, capacity is limited to 2,500 people. This ensures an unobstructed view of both LED screens for this number of attendees. The entire organisation and infrastructure are designed accordingly. Early arrival is therefore strongly recommended.

For a fair experience for everyone – it's best to come together. Reserving seats is unfortunately not possible. Once the maximum capacity is reached, no further fans can be admitted.

Entry is from 17:00 CEST via the West II entrance.

Kick-off is at 19:00, and the match is also available to watch live on ServusTV and ServusTV On.

Four kiosks will be available for your culinary needs. For the first time, foodaffairs will be providing its new selection of food and drinks.

Travel & important notes

Arrival is via the usual routes: Parking is available at P-Stadium, there are good connections to public transport, and bicycle parking is provided. No additional shuttle services or external parking areas are offered. Event attendance does not entitle you to free use of public transport.

All details regarding permitted items can be found in the stadium regulations. Bringing your own food and drinks is not permitted.

As a family-friendly sports venue with large children's and youth areas, smoking is strictly prohibited in all areas of the Red Bull Arena. The only exception is the designated smoking areas in the stadium concourse.
