eBundesliga back with a bang

First gameweeks played

The new eBundesliga season sees all 12 clubs of the ADMIRAL Bundesliga face one another with squads of four FIFA gamers each. After 11 matches in a regular season, the top six clubs will make a final round, with points at that stage being halved, just as they are in the Austrian football Bundesliga.

Alle the info on the structure and rules

Every Tuesday and Thursday evening until 14 March, LAOLA1 is broadcasting one top match per game week from 18:00, with the eBundesliga Total programme following with the highlights of each game. We will also post the best bits of Fabio Özelt & Co's games every week on our eSports page.

Game week 1 | v LASK

We were spoken of as favourites before the start of the league, and our boys confirmed that tag in style. Our Red Bulls put in a great performance on the opening day of the new eBundesliga season against LASK. Fabio Özelt (1-0) and Rodrigo Rapport (4-1) both won, while Haroun Yassin was held to a 3-3 draw. Those results were not enough to take us to the top of the table, but definitely made for a promising basis to start the campaign with! Here are the highlights of the first matchday:

Gameweek 2 | v SK Austria Klagenfurt

The success of the first matchday did not continue into the second one, unfortunately. We had to be content with four points against SK Austria Klagenfurt. Fabio Özelt took a clear 3-0 win against Heinz Knapp, but Rodrigo Rapport was beaten 1-4 and Haroun Yassin was held to a 2-2 draw by Justin Eck. We lost ground on the top of the table as a result, but we remain very much in the running four points down in fifth.
