Jasper's short first Interview:

Welcome, Jasper! How do you feel after signing?

"It's a really wonderful feeling to be able to be a part of a really great club next season. I have been watching the team recently, of course, especially in the Europa League, and I am really looking forward to joining."

What personal aims are you pursuing with us, and what do you expect in the time ahead?

"I want to play my part in us continuing to be successful in Europe and winning the Austrian title. I am really looking forward to the ambitious and intensive football played here in Salzburg. I am confident that my playing style and strengths will fit really well with the team."

Do you have a role model in football you want to follow?

"Yeah, Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane. They are both central defenders, who on the one hand are very different, but on the other hand they are both on the ball a lot and are defensively very strong. I just like the way they play."

How would you describe the kind of player you are?

"I'm a player who enjoys being on the ball and am very comfortable on it, thanks to my technique, above all, I'd say."

Many thanks, Jasper! Here's to a successful time together. See you soon!
