Already in the championship group
The top three are already sure of their spots in the championship group - our Red Bulls plus their nearest rivals SK Sturm Graz, and LASK, who secured their ticket on Sunday.
Already in the qualification group
RZ Pellets WAC had their hopes of making the championship group ended by a 0-4 defeat to Sturm Graz on Sunday. WAC could still draw level on points with Rapid, but have the inferior head-to-head record. FC Blau-Weiß Linz, CASHPOINT SCR Altach, WSG Tirol and SC Austria Lustenau already had their qualification group fate confirmed.
Not yet confirmed
SK Austria Klagenfurt (4th place/33 points)
Austria Klagenfurt are to host SK Rapid in a huge clash! If Klagenfurt take points, they are definitely in the top group, and even with a defeat they may still make the championship group - TSV Hartberg would have to lose at home to Sturm Graz at the same time or FK Austria Vienna fail to beat WSG Tirol.
TSV Egger Glas Hartberg (5th place/33 points)
Hartberg had a chance to seal things after a strong regular season, only for a 0-1 defeat at home to strugglers WSG Tirol to put their spot in question! They still have everything in their own hands, provided they can take at least a point in the Styrian derby against Sturm Graz.
A defeat would leave the side coached by Markus Schopp hoping that Rapid lose against Klagenfurt or Austria Vienna fail to beat WSG Tirol.
SK Rapid Vienna (6th place/32 points)
The draw against basement side Lustenau has left Rapid in a tense battle for the final championship group spot with their local rivals. If they manage to take another point away at Austria Klagenfurt, the Green and Whites would be assured of their spot thanks to their head-to-head record in Vienna derbies (recently beating Austria Vienna 3-0).
Should Rapid lose and Austria Vienna take a win, they will contest the qualification group in the spring!
FK Austria Vienna (7th place/30 points)
Austria Vienna simply have to win on Sunday! Even if Michael Wimmer's team manages that, then a draw between Klagenfurt and Rapid would end their chances.
Curiously, whatever happens in the match involving fifth-placed Hartberg is of no relevance to Austria's chances. Win on Sunday, and they will definitely overtake a loser of Austria Klagenfurt v Rapid.
If that ends in a draw, Austria could draw level with the Green and Whites, but have the worse head-to-head record. Even in a three-way tie with Rapid and Hartberg, they would draw the short straw in a head-to-head table.
