Alexander Schlager had his left knee operated on in Innsbruck on Monday evening and will be out for the long term as a result.
Our goalkeeper says on his recovery and the doubts that he will be fit to take part in EURO 2024 for Austria by saying: "It's the utmost priority for me to concentrate fully on my comeback at my club. I will put all my effort on that and try to recover as quickly as possible. Depending how that goes, it might still be possible to take part in the EURO."
