A home win against Austria Lustenau was never in doubt - and beyond the final score, there were also three personal milestones.

One of these belonged to Abubakr Barry. The midfielder covers an immense amount of ground week in, week out, never shying away from a challenge, yet he rarely gets to enjoy the glory moments himself. After weeks of hard work, such a moment finally arrived against Austria Lustenau - as he netted his first goal as a Red Bull! The Gambian found the back of the net from the edge of the penalty area to make it 5-0.

Earlier, Tim Drexler also added his name to the scoresheet - likewise for the first time in our colours. While the defender was his usual, efficient self in clearing threats at the back, he popped up in an unexpectedly advanced position following a cross from Baidoo. Yorbe Vertessen headed the ball across, and the German, showing the instincts of a true goalscorer, hammered into the top of the net to make it 3–0. You can watch his first goal in the video below:

The afternoon was rounded off with the competitive debut of Lassina Traore. The 19-year-old from Burkina Faso - who has already been gaining valuable playing time with FC Liefering this season -came on for Frans Krätzig on the left flank for the final 15 minutes.
