Austrian Klassiker win in numbers

7 facts on our 4-2 win in Vienna

It was a special win in Vienna, and we are marking our 4-2 victory at SK Rapid Vienna with seven facts and figures.

#1 | Like being at home

We are unbeaten in seven Bundesliga away matches at SK Rapid. Of our last 16 league trips to the Green and Whites, we have lost just one (a 0-2 defeat in February 2019, with 10 wins and four draws in that run). We have won four away league matches at Rapid in a row for the first time.

#2 | Clear favourites home and away

Of our last 27 Bundesliga meetings with Rapid (with 21 wins and five draws), we have lost just one - the match in February 2019!

#3 | Record-breaking away run

We have won our 9th Bundesliga away match in a row - for the first time in our club's history. The all-time league record of 12 away wins in a row from LASK (May 2019 to March 2020) and FK Austria Vienna (May to November 1985) is now in our sights.

#4 | Sesko on fire

Benjamin Sesko has been directly involved in a goal in each of his last four ADMIRAL Bundesliga appearances (with five goals and one assist).

#5 | Boost from the bench

The last five substitutes scoring hat-tricks in the league have all been Red Bulls - Benjamin Sesko, Karim Adeyemi, Sekou Koita, Alan and Jonatan Soriano. Our substitutes have chipped in with 14 goals this season, more than for any other team.

#6 | Salzburg quarter of an hour

We have scored 13 goals in the final 15 minutes of ADMIRAL Bundesliga matches this season, with only SK Rapid matching that figure.

#7 | Honour where it is due!

Andreas Ulmer made his 400th appearance in the Austrian top-flight against Rapid Vienna - becoming only the 35th player in Bundesliga history to achieve that. Our captain has surpassed even the legendary Herbert Prohaska (399). The 37-year-old helped open our scoring with the assist for our first goal.
