Dijon Kameri out with bruised shoulder

Shoulder joint injury

Sunday started so well for Dijon Kameri, with his receiving the honour for our Player of the Month in August, but the youngster could only play 25 minutes of the game against Rapid Vienna before a shoulder injury ended his day.

The 18-year-old midfielder has been diagnosed with a shoulder joint injury. Thankfully no operation is needed. Kameri will be out of training during the international break, however, and will need therapy for his shoulder. He had to turn down an international call-up for Austria U19 (just as Noah Okafor had to for the Swiss national team). A total of 14 Red Bulls will therefore be in action over the coming days.
