Kamil Piatkowski has left FC Red Bull Salzburg to move to his homeland of Poland, and has signed a contract at Legia Warsaw.

The 25-year-old Polish centre-back came in the summer of 2021 from Rakow in his homeland to our Red Bulls and made a total of 57 appearances (with one goal and three assists). Piatkowski has also played for KAA Gent (BEL/spring 2023), FC Granada (ESP/spring 2024) and Kasimpasa (TUR/spring 2025).

He is now moving to the Polish Ekstraklasa to eighth-placed Legia Warsaw.

Even though things didn't work out for us and Kamil in the end as we had all imagined, I know that everyone at the club has only good things to say about him. He always put himself at the service of the team and tried everything to succeed with us. We therefore wish Kamil all the best and lots of success in his future career!

Rouven Schröder, CEO for Sport
