After seven years with our Red Bulls, Maurits Kjaergaard is changing clubs. The 23-year-old Danish midfielder has signed a contract with LOSC Lille and will play in the French top flight.

His career in Salzburg began with the Red Bull Football Academy's U18 team (eight appearances, three goals) and later as a cooperative player with FC Liefering, where he scored seven goals and provided 14 assists in 47 appearances. This was followed by an impressive 136 appearances for FC Red Bull Salzburg, with 19 goals and 33 assists. The multiple Danish youth international also has three league titles and a cup triumph behind him as he moves to his new club in France.

Mau has played for us in Salzburg for seven years now and has developed from a talented youth player into an exceptional professional.
