EURO dream over for Gloukh and Dedic

Red Bulls powerless to prevent defeat

Two of our boys are heading back from the international break after just one appearance. Both Oscar Gloukh and Amar Dedic were beaten in the semi-finals of the UEFA EURO 2024 play-offs to end their dream of making EURO 2024.

Amar had helped give Bosnia the lead at home to Ukraine. The strike was deemed an own goal, but our right-back played a huge part in it with his trademark burst forward and shot. He was then brought off with 20 minutes remaining and had to watch a late comeback from the visitors, with two goals, from the bench.

Oscar made a substitute appearance in Israel's 1-4 defeat against Iceland. His side were 1-2 down at the break when he was brought on, and their attempts to come back were effectively ended by a red card to Roy Revivo before the visitors added two more goals.
