Pre-season about to start

Performance tests and training ahead

This Wednesday our pre-season starts. It will, however, take a different shape depending on the varying positions of our players.

For those players who were on holiday for the past three to four weeks, albeit with individual training duties, there will be performance tests on Wednesday alongside plenty of new faces before the first training session in Taxham on Thursday.

Our internationals, who are still on duty for their national sides, will return at various stages of pre-season.

New boys in training

There from the start of pre-season training will be Fernando, who was training intensively with us in the final weeks of last season, FC Liefering newcomer Dijon Kameri (just for pre-season) and the returning Youba Diarra (from a loan at TSV Hartberg).

Nicolas Seiwald, Max Wöber, Noah Okafor, Luka Sucic and the other internationals (including the returning Amar Dedic and Dorgeles Nene, Liefering's Samson Baidoo, Justin Omoregie and Roko Simic) will join in during the following days or around the start of the training camp in Bramberg am Wildkogel (25 June).

To be confirmed

Not taking part will be Kilian Ludewig (recently on loan at Willem II), Gideon Mensah (loan at Girondins Bordeaux), Mamadou Sangare (loan at GAK) and Darko Todorovic (loan at Akhmat Grozny). Their futures remain to be clarified.

Almost six weeks of pre-season

There are around five-and-a-half weeks until the first competitive match of the season, with five friendly matches scheduled - including some high-quality opponents - and a training camp (in Bramberg am Wildkogel). There also remains the possibility of another friendly against well-known opposition.

The first compeitive match of the new season will be the first round of the UNIQA ÖFB Cup on the weekend of 15-17 July.

Mixed zone for pre-season start

There will be a mixed zone ahead of the first training session at our Taxham training centre on Thursday 16 June at 09:00, in which our sporting director, coach and a player will be available to answer questions from the media. You can follow this on our homepage or app on a live stream.
