Nicolas Capaldo's time at FC Red Bull Salzburg is over after four years. The Argentinian midfielder is moving to Hamburg, where he has signed a long-term contract.

The 26-year-old joined our Red Bulls in summer 2021 from Boca Juniors, making 126 appearances (with 15 goals and 10 assists) while winning two league titles and one Austrian cup. He appeared as a central midfielder and right-back at times. Nico now faces a new challenge in the German Bundesliga.

Nico was a reliable and important part of our team for many years, so he is due a big thank you. He has developed with us on the pitch and personally, gaining valuable experience he can now take to the German Bundesliga. We wish him all the best in his new challenge at Hamburg.
