Four 2 Score title claimed by Salzburg

Street football World Cup win

Around two months ago, the Austrian qualification tournament for this year's Four 2 Score tournament took place just a few metres away from our stadium. Local team Inter Klessheim prevailed then and won the right to play for us - and Austria - in the street football World Cup in Leipzig.

Salzburg street stars Stefan Federer, Julian Feiser and Kenan Sejdic linked up with Spain's Dilan Mojica to represent FC Red Bull Salzburg last week and were able to take a sensational World Cup win!

The Salzburg team were very much cast in the underdog role going into the tournament, with Brazil and the Netherlands regarded as favourites. After a difficult start, our boys got increasingly into gear and were able to see off South Korea in the final. The success means they are sure of their spot in next year's competition too.

We all play 11-aside football, but we grew up playing cage kickabouts. We are extremely proud and grateful for this opportunity!

Stefan Federer

We would like to congratulate the boys on their success and look forward to welcoming them to our Red Bull Arena on Wednesday, when Inter Milan visit for a friendly match.

What is Red Bull Four 2 Score?

It is a 4 v 4 football series with 10 minute matches and no goalkeeper. It's all about goals - at the right time too. Goals netted in the first and final 60 seconds count double! Matches can be played on any surface, with the tournament in Leipzig taking place on an artificial pitch. Qualifying events are hosted in a total of 27 countries to determine who represents each nation in the big final tournament.
