Since 1 July 2023, SalzburgerLand Tourismus Gesellschaft (SLTG) and ourselves have entered into a strategic partnership with the aim of advertising our home region as a holiday destination in Austria and overseas, while inspiring sports enthusiasts across Europe to visit.

We have worked together for years, for instance in the annual harvest festival match at the Red Bull Arena, or also with ad hoc co-operations as part of our UEFA Champions League matches. This partnership is now being further intensified and strategically developed.

Our co-operation with SalzburgerLand Tourismus has gone on for many years already. It is a wonderful, important and successful project. It allows us to show our regional identity, which we are very keen on incorporating in many areas of the club.

We also have the opportunity to present our stunning region on an international stage. By extending our co-operation there will be many more opportunities to do this.

FC Red Bull Salzburg are one of the most important ambassadors for the city and the Salzburg region in Europe with their performances in European competitions. As our offering in both summer and winter, centred around the popular activities in the Alpine nature, appeals above all to sport enthusiasts and our key markets are in the European region, a co-operation makes a lot of sense.

Friendly match v Inter Milan as perfect example

Among our other activities, international attention will be brought by our high-profile friendly match against Inter Milan on Wednesday 9 August at the Red Bull Arena.

The friendly is a perfect example of the international impact and reach of football. The match will not only create a lot of attention in the Italian market, it will be broadcast worldwide on TV and online streams. That provides us the perfect opportunity to highlight SalzburgerLand as a holiday destination with accompanying communication.
