Strahinja Pavlovic's time at FC Red Bull Salzburg is over after two years. The 23-year-old Serbian has left for Italy and has signed a four-year contract with top side AC Milan.
World Cup and Euros as a Red Bull
The big and bold centre-back joined us in summer 2022 – after a difficult time at FC Basel and AS Monaco – where he grew game by game. Pavlo made a total of 71 appearances (6 goals, 6 assists) and also became a key part of the Serbian national team.
He was a regular in his national colours in both the 2022 World Cup and Euro 2024. Strahinja Pavlovic is now leaving for Italian runners-up AC Milan, who are also in the UEFA Champions League and have another former Red Bull in their ranks in Noah Okafor.

Strahinja put in some very good performances for FC Red Bull Salzburg and has developed superbly. After his equally strong performances for the Serbian national team on the biggest stage, it was clear to us that he would move to a top European club one day. We are certain that he will show his quality there too, and we wish Pavlo all the very best for his future!
I came to FC Red Bull Salzburg as a young player, and I can say that it was the best decision that I could have possibly made at the time. They believe in young players here and give them every opportunity to be the best version of themselves when they are prepared to work hard. I had two incredible years here, in which I experienced so much. I now feel that I am ready for the next step and for the challenges ahead. I will look back fondly on my time in Salzburg with many positive memories.
