Our fears yesterday following the substitution of Fernando at home to SK Rapid Vienna have been confirmed, unfortunately. The 25-year-old Brazilian is out for the rest of the season due to a right thigh injury.

That is the second big injury blow in a matter of days after Maurits Kjaergaard's thigh injury in the Cup semi-final against SK Sturm Graz. The Danish midfielder is hoping to make a comeback before the end of the campaign.

We are aiming for Mau to return before the end of the season. He has been out for a week or two, and we will see when he is fit again.
