International break before the holiday

13 players on international duty

Our 2021/22 season is over, but several of our boys are unable to take a holiday just yet. International football rumbles on for those with the honour of representing their countries. Here is an overview of our Red Bulls selected for action:

  • Nicolas Seiwald and Max Wöber have been called up by the Austrian national team for Nations League games v  Croatia (3 June), Denmark (6 and 13 June) and France (10 June).
 
  • Brenden Aaronson is in the US national team squad for friendly matches v Morocco (1 June) and Uruguay (5 June) as well as ties in the Nations League (CONCACAF) v Grenada (10 June) and El Salvador (14 June).
  • Mohamed Camara and Sekou Koita have call ups from Mali for African Cup of Nations qualifiers v Congo (4 June) and South Sudan (9 June) as well as a friendly match v Ecuador (11 June).
  • Rasmus Kristensen is in the Denmark squad for Nations League matches v France (3 June), Austria (6 and 13 June) and Croatia (10 June).
  • Noah Okafor and the Swiss national team have Nations League matches v Czech Republic (2 June), Portugal (5 and 12 June) and Spain (9 June).
  • Benjamin Sesko has been called up by the Slovenian national team for matches in the UEFA Nations League v Sweden (2 June), Serbia (5 and 12 June) and Norway (9 June).
  • Junior Adamu is set for action for Austria U21 in European qualifying v Finland (3 June).
 
  • Nico Mantl is in the Germany U21 squad for EURO qualifiers v Hungary (3 June) and Poland (7 June).
  • Maurits Kjaergaard and Denmark U21 have European qualifiers ahead v Kazakhstan (4 June), Scotland (10 June) and Turkey (14 June).
  • Luka Sucic is in the Croatia U21 squad for European qualifiers v Norway (3 June) and Estonia (8 June), before he links up with the full national squad who are to face Denmark (10 June) and France (13 June) in the Nations League.
  • Ignace Van der Brempt and Belgium U21 face a European qualifier v Scotland (5 June).
