Huge friendly v Liverpool

On 27 July at Red Bull Arena

Are you ready for Klopp & Co? They are coming to town for the grand finale of our pre-season schedule - on Wednesday 27 July 2022 we are to host Liverpool at the Red Bull Arena at 20:00 CET (live on ServusTV in Austria). Get set for a full house as well as a thrilling and top-quality encounter!

We could not possibly have a better test ahead of the next UEFA Champions League than facing the League Cup and FA Cup double winners, Champions League finalists and Premier League runners-up. We have a wonderful recent history of meeting the Reds, from the group stage of the 2019/20 UEFA Champions League - with the legendary 3-4 defeat at Anfield - as well as a friendly in the summer of 2020 (2-2) at our place.

Our general manager Stephan Reiter is hugely looking forward to the big match at the Red Bull Arena:

We have maintained good contact with Liverpool after our UEFA Champions League matches and the friendly in 2020. We now have the special opportunity of giving our fans the chance to enjoy another clash with the Reds.

Our season-ticket holders can look forward to an extra special treat - they can go to the big match for just 20 Euro.
