Luka Sucic is your Player of the Month for April

Sucic, Okafor, Seiwald and Ulmer on short list

Čestitam! Our spectacular 5-0 win at home to Austria Vienna sent the beer pouring in April as we ensured after 28 matches of the season that we end it top of the ADMIRAL Bundesliga. We ended up with a more than deserved Player of the Month - Luka Sucic's fantastic form saw him earn 52 percent of the close to 13,000 votes. It is the first time the Young Croat has won the award, which he took with around 1000 votes more than  Nici Seiwald. In third place was Noah Okafor, followed by our captain Andreas Ulmer.

1st Luka Sucic (52.08%)

The Croat was a clear standout player for us this month. Luka showed just what a sensational box-to-box midfielder he is. The 19-year-old makes intelligent runs going forward and has the nose for goal of a top striker. The midfielder scored in four consecutive Austrian Bundesliga games in April, having a total of six goal involvements! He thoroughly deserved his nomination for Player of the Month!

2nd Nici Seiwald (43.93%)

Our local boy shone in April as a midfield pivot. Numerous balls found the way forward via him, with sumptuous through balls and deep crosses among them. Nici added three assists to his account during the month. After the title win, the 20-year-old was delighted about his contribution this season as a regular, saying: "It's a really awesome feeling to be on the pitch and know that you are now a champion and you've got a reward for all your work."

3rd Noah Okafor (2.82%)

The Swiss attacker had less playing time than he would like at the start of the month due to a thigh injury. He still showed though just how important he is for our attacking play. It's a sheer delight to watch Noah dribbling his way forward - unless you are an opposing defender. He provided the assist for Sucic's long-range stunner in the Austrian Klassiker against Rapid. He opened the scoring in the title party against Austria Vienna and set up the second. He's always popular with the fans, unsurprisingly!

4th Andreas Ulmer (1.17 %)

He led us to our ninth league title in a row as captain. It was his 12th title as a Red Bull in total - a record in Austria! In April, Andi was every bit as dependable as always. He wore the captain's armband four times, playing the full 90 minutes four times and winning four matches. He provides real security down the left as well as regular attacking support. Our leader had a well-deserved rest for the Sturm Graz match.
