Part of our Football of Tomorrow mission includes our eSport department, which has allowed us to regularly live up to our role as pioneers in a new sphere. After becoming the first Austrian Bundesliga club to hire an eSports pro, we signed Austria's first professional eSports female, fifa_kati, as a content creator.

In the 2022/23 season, our eSports squad is formed by FIFA pro Faoetnation and eAcademy player rbs_rodrigo.

eSports Area

Since 2019, we have had our own eSports area at the Red Bull Arena, which is a real treat for any FIFA fan. At the East Side of the stadium, passionate gamers can play the EA SPORTS football game on four PS5 consoles on the very latest EIZO screens with a special gaming HiFi system from Teufel Audio. On FC Red Bull Salzburg match days, there are frequent tournaments and training sessions held featuring our Red Bulls' eSports pros.

eBundesliga

Two virtual titles take a proud place in our trophy cabinet. In both 2019 and 2020 we won the eBundesliga presented by Wiener Städtische honour. In the 2023 final, our FIFA Pro Fabio Özelt (FAOETNATION) won the individual competition, while we finished second in the team competition behind SCR Altach.
