10 out of 10 | Facts and figures of the season

Our statistics overview

Another legendary season has come to an end, with so many new highlights and records taken along the way. We have used the occasion to seek out 10 figures from the 2022/23 season that have defined the campaign in Austria and in Europe.

30 Our boys scored in 30 of their 32 Austrian Bundesliga matches - more than any other team this season. Sesko & Co smashed 67 goals in total in the ADMIRAL Bundesliga.
1 We lost only one Austrian Bundesliga match in the entire season - a defeat at SK Sturm Graz on the second match day. We are the first team in Bundesliga history to have gone through a season of more than 30 matches losing just once.

18 Our youngest goalscorer in 2022/23 was Dijon Kameri. The teenager from Salzburg scored his first competitive goal for our Red Bulls in our 6-0 success against Austria Lustenau at the age of 18 years, 4 months and 7 days old.
21.3 In the Austrian Bundesliga match on 16 October 2022 v Austria Vienna, Matthias Jaissle selected a starting XI with an average age of just 21.3 years old. We have only bettered this twice - under Matthias Jaissle in the previous season (20.9 and 21.1 years old).

6 Our highest-scoring competitive matches were the ADMIRAL Bundesliga tie away at Austria Lustenau (6-0) and UNIQA ÖFB Cup clash at Admira (6-1). Our only encounter of the season that saw more goals was our high-profile friendly in January at Bayern Munich, which ended in a 4-4 draw.
13 Lucky for some - our boys took 13 away wins in the Bundesliga this season (12 of which came in a row) to equalise the records of LASK and Austria Vienna.
6 Winter is coming, and you can bet we'll still be in Europe! We finished third in our UEFA Champions League group behind AC Milan and Chelsea to make the UEFA Europa League knockout stages. That was the sixth year in a row we have remained in European competition in the spring. We haven't been knocked out before the end of a year since the UEFA Europa League group stage of 2016/17.

3,777 The 3,777 minutes clocked up by Philipp Köhn in all competitions this season are more than any other player in our squad. The Swiss keeper, who was in the Swiss national squad for the World Cup last winter, was involved in every single match - making 42 appearances for our Red Bulls. Only twice was he on the substitutes bench, when Nico Mantl made an appearance in the cup, and when Alexander Walke started our final home match but was replaced after 33 minutes. Nici Seiwald played more than any other outfield player (3,635 minutes). The local lad played in every single match apart from one against Altach in October!
0 For the fourth time in our club's history, we went through an entire Bundesliga season unbeaten at home. The only other team to manage that this century has been SV Ried in 2008/09. Our home fortress has stood the test of time - and we are unbeaten now in 42 home matches (33 wins and nine draws). The all-time league record is 53, set between 2016 and 2019.

10 Most importantly of all - we have taken an historic tenth Austrian title in a row!
