Philipp Köhn is Player of the Month again

Wins ahead of Pavlovic, Kjaergaard and Seiwald

He's done it again! Philipp Köhn took 55.57 % of the votes to win against Nici Seiwald (27.25 %), Strahinja Pavlovic (13.57 %) and Maurits Kjaergaard (3.61 %). It is the fourth Player of the Month trophy for our ever-dependable keeper.

An overview of the results:

Philipp Köhn (55.57 %)

Klagenfurt striker Markus Pink is probably still having nightmares about him. King Köhn pulled off a series of spectacular saves, keeping a clean sheet and having a huge hand in our away win. The Swiss shot stopper had no chance of preventing our goals at the San Siro. The Swiss number one goes into the vote as reigning Player of the Month for October, his third award of the season! It remains to be seen if he has place in his living room for a fourth Player of the Month trophy.

Nicolas Seiwald (27.25 %)

The Salzburg lad is in a class of his own when it comes to passing - with 90 per cent passing accuracy at Klagenfurt and 91 in the Italian fashion capital. There was no sign of any tiredness on Nici, even though he has played the full 90 minutes in nine of the past 12 matches. The Austrian international put in a series of solid performances in holding midfield in front of the defence.

Strahinja Pavlovic (13.57 %)

Our defensive boss played every minute in the month and was his usual dependable self. He cleared the ball 20 times in November – more than anyone else! He made his mark going forward with his energetic charges upfield too. The Serb was also the best tackler on the pitch at the San Siro. He is in form and ready to take on Brazil, Cameroon and Switzerland at the World Cup.

Maurits Kjaergaard (3.61 %)

Midield maestro, kilometre clocker, playmaker. The young Dane often goes under the radar, but is so effective. Mau loves to orchestrate attacks – being the most comfortable Salzburg man on the ball against Klagenfurt - and stopped a lot of opposing build-up play in its tracks. He is a textbook central midfielder and shone in November.
