first Interview with our new signing:

How do you feel so soon after signing?

I feel great. I am pleased to be here in Salzburg with everything working out so well, and I am really looking forward to my new challenge.

What are your aims as you take on this new challenge?

My personal aims haven't changed. I will give my all, of course, and try to play my part in helping the team and making an impact here in Salzburg in the long haul.

Do you have a footballing idol?

I have a few idols in football. In my position as a defender, Sergio Ramos instantly comes to mind.

How would you describe yourself as a player?

I think as a person I am a pretty uncomplicated guy, who can handle any kind of situation pretty well. As a player on the pitch I have a fair bit of speed, good vision and can pass well. I would describe myself as having a strong mentality. I'm very focused and always have a clear aim in mind.

What positions can you play in?

I leave this decision to the coach of course [laughs]. Essentially, I developed as a central defender, but have played out wide a lot in recent years. I really enjoy playing either position.

welcome, Albert!
